What is CBSE 2020 result reflecting in the COVID-19 situation?
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced the detailed score of class 12 board exams for this year and it is available in cbseresults.nic.in. The passing percentage is 88.78 which has increased by 5.38% than the previous year. There were 12,03,595 registration for CBSE class 12 examination out of which 10,59,080 students passed this year, even under the COVID-19 pandemic situation
Girls outperformed boys in CBSE class 12 board exams once again. 92.15% is the passing percentage for girls whereas, for boys, it is 86.16%.
City wise rank for this class 12 board exam is also significant. South Indian cities like Trivandrum, Bengaluru, and Chennai are in the top 3 positions respectively. Capital of India (East and West) is in the 4th and 5th place followed by Panchkula, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, and Pune that complete the top 10 performing list in CBSE result.
The reason why CBSE result 2020 is significant because CBSE board exam is one of the biggest examination programs in India. To arrange this large scale exam in the pandemic by keeping all the health norms intact was a challenge for the government of India. But the Indian government has managed to complete all necessary steps and they published the CBSE board exam result.
